ITINERARY

Whilst every effort will be made to stick to the four day itinerary set out below, it is of course weather dependent and as such our programming needs to be flexible. Ultimately it will be our decision as to what direction the programme takes and all decisions will be driven by safety considerations. If we can't proceed we won't.

Day 1 - Earth & Water

The first day of our long weekend will allow us to get to know you, what you want to achieve over your time with us, and your skill level. The best way we know how to do this is to get you cold and exhilarated.

We begin with an early start and a Gorge Walk up our own burn to a picturesque waterfall before a short jog back down to CampX for a well-deserved breakfast. Once we have warmed up we will spend the rest of the day either Hiking, Trail Running, or Cycling, much dependent on your own skillset. However, regardless of ability level, you can guarantee the afternoon will be spent amidst the magnificent scenery and breathtaking landscape that we are privileged to have so close to hand.

We would encourage everyone to do everything, but if there is simply not enough time the more intense athletes can make up for lost opportunity on Day 3.

Day 2 - Best of
The Highlands

With so much to experience right on our doorstep, this day can be tailored to what you personally want to achieve. Swim tours, running and mountain biking routes can be built to your specification and kayaking whitewater options are also available, although obviously rather dependent on the elements.

Much like day 1 we continue to give you a taste of the very best the Highands has to offer and to push you as hard as you want.

Day 3 - R & R

For many, this day will allow you to rest your tired limbs before the final big push on the Coast 2 Coast. That said, what is lost in strain and sweat can be more than compensated for with excitement and challenge, with many opportunities to spend a few hours doing something completely out of your comfort zone. From Rifle Target shooting and Shot Gun Clays on our own Range to chilling completely and heading off-site to do something touristy we can point you in the right direction.

For those on the opposite end of the spectrum who need no rest and wish to continue to test their endurance, we will undertake to find you the necessary pain - there are hills everywhere!

For everyone else who wants a change of physical pace, but with a thrill or two thrown in, we offer up various activities to include but not limited to Wild Swimming, XC Motor Sport including Quads and Trials, and a Paragliding taster experience (winds permitting), on our own 'Hop Hill'. You can see why this might be our favourite day!

Day 4 - Coast 2 Coast

An early start will see our adventurers driven to the drop-off point. Dipping your heels into the waters of the coastal Loch Broom before the lung-busting ascent nearly 1000 metres up towards Beinn Dearg with the climb offering amazing views of the area.

We then leave the trails to free roam across the varied and challenging terrain, skirting the picturesque Tuath & Prille Lochs before descending past stunning hidden waterfalls and dropping into Glen Beg heading then towards Glen Mor and Allerdale Wilderness Reserve to complete stage 1.

Back on recognised trails well-earned hot food and CampX mountain bikes will be waiting for you ready for stage 2. An undulating 9 mile ride through the breathtaking Valley on gravel trails before a fast 13 mile downhill tarmac finish on green lanes, past CampX to complete the day with your front wheel touching the waters of the Dornoch Firth.

A short drive back to CampX for a well-earned drink and C2C bragging rights.
